This national Health system is seeking a Psychiatric Medical Director to oversee our behavior health programs at two facilities in Jacksonville and Orange Park, FL.
- Monday -Friday schedule
- Telephonic call during the week is 1:4.
- No weekend call for the Medical Director!
The Medical Director will have both clinical and administrative responsibilities. This position is an employed position and offers a very competitive base salary with bonus potential and an excellent benefits package.
Qualified Candidates:
- Must be board certified
- Must be (obtain) FL Medical License
- Experience required

FACILITY:
Located within the hospital, the unit in Jacksonville, FL is an acute, 27-bed inpatient adult stabilization unit with experienced staff dedicated to the delivery of high quality, compassionate psychiatric services. Also, located on the 2nd floor of the medical office building of the hospital, is our Intensive Outpatient Services. This program consists of group therapy and educational sessions. The Intensive Outpatient Program offers treatment for: Mood Disorders, Depression, Behavior Health Issues. The Hospital is also proud to announce it has expanded its behavior health services to include specialized care for older adults. The hospital has opened an inpatient geriatric behavior health unit. This unit is staffed with physicians who are specially trained in geriatric medicine. This is a 14-bed unit.
The Orange Park behavioral health program provides a wide range of psychiatric services, including inpatient care in our 24-bed facility, intensive outpatient programs and 24/7 emergency evaluations. Our team places special emphasis on providing individualized care plans in a warm and compassionate environment. Our mental health treatment is easily accessible for patients in Jacksonville, Orange Park and Northeast Florida.
