St. Elizabeth Home, an Illuminus Community, is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). We offer long-term care and short-term rehabilitation in a skilled nursing setting. Originally founded in 1967, St. Elizabeth is located just blocks from downtown Janesville in the beautiful Courthouse Hill Historic District between Upper Courthouse Park and Jefferson Park.
Although small enough to make everyone living and working on campus truly feel like a family, St. Elizabeth offers those we care for a wide range of services and support. - Full-time, Part-time or Casual/PRN positions available
- AM or PM shifts available
- $25.00-34.00 per hour, based on experience
- Shift Differential for PM Shifts
- Eligible for Sign On Bonus
Our LPN provides prescribed medical treatment under the general supervision of a registered nurse.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintains and actively promotes effective communication with all individuals.
- Maintains a positive image of the entity in the community keeping in alignment with our mission, vision, and values.
- Responsible for on-call services, as assigned.
- Leads, guides and develops certified nursing assistants and resident assistants in the provision of quality care.
- Supervises the duties of certified nursing assistants and resident assistants.
- Performs medical treatments and reports status to the registered nurse.
- Reports resident changes in condition promptly to the registered nurse.
- Performs all necessary related functions, such as blood pressure checks and pulses in conjunction with the medication pass as needed.
- Participates in following and updating plans of care.
- Promotes resident centered care.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse credentials and license in the State of Wisconsin.
- Active CPR
- Commitment to quality outcomes and services for all individuals.
- Ability to relate well to all individuals.
- Ability to maintain and protect the confidentiality of information.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions.
- Ability to adapt to change.
