Leisure and Lifestyle Officer - Permanent

Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and lead engaging group and individual activities that bring joy to our residents' lives.
- Maintain lively documentation of activities and resident plans.
- Get to know our residents personally, recognizing and responding promptly to changes in their well-being.
- Ensure the daily care, safety, and happiness of our residents.
- Team up with Registered Nurses to provide personalized care through planning and support.
- Foster clear communication with families, service providers, and other stakeholders.
- Lead with enthusiasm, adhering to policies and contributing to our mission.
- Stay updated and bring a fresh perspective to training initiatives.
- Contribute your ideas to our continuous improvement plan.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in leisure and lifestyle.
- Certificate III/IV in aged care or disability support (desirable).
- Current first aid and CPR certificates (desirable).
Skills and Experience:
- At least 2 years experience in a Lifestyle Role in residential aged care.
- Enthusiasm for working with people, especially those with dementia.
- Reliable and committed team player.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Dynamic personality and effective time management skills.
- Quick learner, comfortable with basic IT systems.
