Our client is located in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Lee’s Summit sits 30 minutes outside Kansas City. The city offers family-oriented neighborhoods with a booming housing market. Being the perfect distance from downtown Kansas City, Lee’s Summit allows you to make a day trip in for a Chiefs game and make it home in time for dinner. Take a scenic stroll through one of the city’s many beautiful parks and trails before spending the night in Lee Summit’s own vibrant downtown district.
Practice Overview
Our client was established in 2008 and is privately owned family practice. They are providing Lee’s Summit and the neighboring communities with compassionate, high-quality veterinary care for your animal companions. Their facility is equipped with 6,000 sq ft, full digital x-rays and dental, in house lab, and 2,000 sq ft outdoor exercise play area. Their staff thrives in a friendly work environment that values collaboration and relationship building. What You’ll Be Working On
- Nurture and maintain client relationships
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal cases
- Perform general wellness exams and soft tissue surgeries
- Dental cleanings and procedures
- Educate clients and staff on treatment options and recommendations
- Maintain a positive work environment
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program required
- Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Missouri
- A minimum of two years of experience is preferred
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Proficient in soft tissue surgery
- General practice experience is preferred
- Highly motivated, with a desire to learn and grow
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated compassion for patients and clients
- Ability to multitask and work within a team environment
- Availability to work on Saturdays
