OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS
St. Joseph's is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) - RNFA to join our team. Join a busy, high-acuity vascular surgery service that will expose you to a highly specialized patient population while also including direct medical management of the hospitalized patient. Responsibilities:
- Manage pre and postoperative care of the hospitalized patient including performing rounds, conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting appropriate tests, admission history and physicals.
- Collaborate with and work at direction of attending physicians to form plans of care and manage hospitalized patients.
- First assist in the operating room with all vascular surgery cases.
- Inpatient only, no clinic.
Qualifications:
- NYS licensed PA or NP (RNFA), DEA certified/eligible.
- Strong surgical and inpatient experience preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Will train the right new graduate through our resident program with a comprehensive and supportive orientation process.
- NP applicants must already possess their RNFA certification.
Recruitment Package:
- Non-Operative - Hourly rate range $47.00 per hour - $62.15 per hour.
- Operative - Hourly Range $49.33 - $74.08 per hour.
- Robotic Certification - Hourly range $50.81 - $76.30.
Compensation package:
- $15,000 bonus for all new surgical PA hires (payment as follows):
- $5,000 starting bonus.
- $5,000 retention bonus.
- $5,000 relocation allowance.
