Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele – 4 South 48’s
Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12×4, 48hrs per week, Will also consider 36hrs, EOW
Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
- AL License
- MS/Tele and Telemetry Experience, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response experience, Post MI, IV Insulin Protocols, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management and Renal Failure, IV Therapy/Phlebotomy, PCA, CVA, Surgical Drains, and Respiratory/Thoracic experience
- Medication System Pyxis
- BCLS
- Experience with Traumatic Brain Injuries, Ortho Trauma, Peripheral Nerve Block Catheters, and Total Joint Replacements preferred
- EMR experience
- Teaching Hospital experience preferred
- Community Hospital experience preferred
Other Details:
- Med Surg & MS/Tele Ratios: 1:5/6 with occasional 1:7. This is a fast pace/high case load facility
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
- Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
- Must be greater than 85 miles from the facility
- Patient Diagnoses: Nephrology, Telemetry and Dialysis patients with a few surgical patients
- Patient Age Groups: Adults and Geriatrics
- 32 Beds
- Must pass cardiac exam during orientation
Specialty: MS/Tele, 36H or 48H available
Experience Required: 2 years
First time travelers are accepted
Floating Required: Must be willing to float within specialty and between campuses (4.5 miles away)
Certifications required: BCLS

EMR experience required though Meditech Expanse training is covered during orientation
Perm staff must have been termed for 6 months and must be greater than 85 miles from the facility
Nursys: No hits are allowed, if there is a hit of ANY kind it is an automatic redirect
