ResponsibilitiesResponsible for delivering precise, timely, and accurate laboratory results.
- Responsible for performing specimen preparation, staining, and screening of specimens submitted for cytological examination.
- Screens accurately GYN and non-GYN cytology samples and may assist with fine needle aspirations on/off campus.
- Performs quality controls for all equipment and troubleshoots malfunctioning instrumentation as necessary. Maintains staining rows and records daily Quality Control of stains and technical quality of cytology preparations.
Minimum Requirements- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Physical/Life Science/related
- Experience: Less than 2 years
- Supervisor Experience: No Experience
- Licenses & Certifications: CT-ASCP or equivalent
Preferred Requirements- Experience: 2-5 years
