- CNA to CMA: Transition from a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to a Certified Medication Aide (CMA).
- CMA to LPN: Advance from a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- LPN to RN: Progress from a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to a Registered Nurse (RN).
Job Qualifications:
- Must hold a Nursing Degree from an accredited program or college/university.
- A current, unencumbered, active North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- A current CPR certification.
- At least one year of experience in Long Term Care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with their plan of care including medication administration, assessments, wound care, and documentation.
- Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Nursing Assistants.
- Monitor patients' conditions and notify physicians of any changes.
