An established Skilled Nursing Facility located in Fairfield County seeks an experienced Dietary Manager to oversee the dietary department operations.
The Dietary Manager will be responsible for the overall functions of the dietary department and ensure that the department meets or exceeds dietary expectations.
Responsibilities Include:
- Planning, executing, and overseeing the timely preparation of resident and meals
- Ensuring resident satisfaction in meals and food that is served
- Managing and supervise direct dietary personnel in accordance with department and company policy
- Adhering to all sanitary and food safety regulations that govern food handling
- Identifying areas of improved customer service
- Interviewing, hiring, and orienting new personnel
Qualified Candidates will have:
- ServSafe Certification
- Previous experience in Food Service Management, Culinary Arts, or Certified Dietary Manager certificate in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge in safe food handling practice
