Working under minimal supervision, the Clinical Trials Coordinator is responsible for study subject identification, recruitment, screening for eligibility, enrollment, and follow-up in accordance with research protocols. Additionally, the Coordinator will initiate all regulatory documentation and compliance. The Clinical Trials Coordinator will serve as a Patient Navigator, providing orientation, scheduling, retention, and transportation assistance for subjects participating in research studies. This position will support principal investigators, providing integral research functions throughout the duration of the project.
Minimum Qualifications
- Required Education: Bachelor's in Physical Sciences (biology, chemistry, physics, etc.), Healthcare/Public Health, or a related field.
- Certifications/Licenses Required: Clinical Trial Coordinator 2 or 3: CCRC/CCRP or related Clinical Research Certification.
- Minimum Experience: CTC 1: 1 year; CTC 2: 3 years; CTC 3: 5 years of professional level experience. A Master’s degree can substitute for 1 year of professional level experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred certifications and experience will be considered.
