Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital, in Rhinelander, WI, is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our team!
The Surgical Technologist is responsible for planning and organizing supplies, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures. Promotes education of self, peers, and students. Collaborates with all surgical team members to assure the safe and efficient passage of a patient through surgery. Responsible for activities that can interact with, collaborate with, cause, or result in an effect or consequence to or with other practitioners in the surgical environment.
Hours: Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Day shift, with on-call and weekend coverage.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Knowledge of surgical standards and practices normally acquired through graduation from a surgical technologist program or related field and/or three or more years of related experience in the operating room.
- Graduate of a certified surgical technologist program beneficial.
- One year acute care surgical experience beneficial.
- Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist beneficial.
- Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
