Performing & reporting radiological investigations & procedures (Departmental as well as Bed side). To administer contrast doses as per dosage chart and deliver reports as per report matrix. Attending calls in case of emergency or whenever needed. Verifying documents (consent forms, prescription, bill, inpatient file, etc.) prior to taking up patient for required investigation. Managing contrast reactions, if any. Periodic checking of emergency drugs/life-saving equipment in work area. Participating in academic and interdepartmental meetings. Intimation of critical results & monitoring adverse events. Keeping up-to-date with the latest technology and innovations in the respective field. Following hospital policies at all times and seeking and providing inputs as required. Participating in review & planning activities relevant to the departmental services at the hospital. Actively participating in presentations of CMEs and journal clubs. Supervising all technicians of the department to maintain discipline and high standards of medical care as per standard operating procedures. Undertaking managerial responsibilities such as planning the workload and staffing of the department, especially at more senior levels. Teaching and supervising junior doctors. Any other responsibility assigned by the management.
