We hire direct support professionals to assist residents with developmental disabilities with daily living activities in a residential setting.
Job Responsibilities Of a Direct Support Professional:
- Assist and supervise activities related to daily living skills.
- Administer or assist with prescribed medication.
- Light housekeeping.
- Assist with transportation.
- Assist in the implementation of individual goals and objectives.
- Data entry using Therap (EHR).
- Assist residents in pursuing recreational, social, and community activities based on their preferences and individual plans.
Job Requirements:- HS diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license in good standing and must be insurable through NJID's automobile insurance.
- Strong communication skills.
NO certification required.
Position Details:
Location: Manahawkin County: Ocean
Hours Per Work Week: 16 Weekly Work Schedule: Sat & Sun 10a - 6p
