Coachlight - Health and Wellness Physician Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated Health and Wellness Practitioner to join our team at Coachlight Clinic & Spa! The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping people achieve their maximum potential along their health and wellness journey through various healthcare means, such as hormone replacement therapy and weight loss, and possess the skills necessary to provide exceptional care.
POSITION: Health and Wellness Physician Assistant-Certified
Job Summary: This individual will assist people along their health and fitness journey through various healthcare means including but not limited to weight loss management, hormone therapy, vitamin dosage, etc. Responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic care including taking medical histories, performing examinations, and developing a treatment plan.
Education and Experience:
- Two years experience in a medical office working as a physician assistant.
- Two years of wellness, hormone therapy, OB/GYN, or nutrition experience preferred.
- Graduate of accredited P.A. program and current NCCPA certificate.

- Ability to assess, treat, and educate patients on overall health and wellness topics.
- Possesses wide-ranging knowledge of health and pathology.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Well-organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Treat patients and co-workers with respect.
- Empathetic with patient’s needs and concerns.
- Ability to work well with physicians, anticipating their needs regarding patient treatment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients seeking to have a better quality of life within their health, wellness, and fitness journey.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments. Order and review lab results.
- Educate patients on health conditions, treatment options, and health lifestyle choices.
- Provide counseling and support to patients.
- Administer medications and injections following established protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- The physician assistant must deliver care in accordance with mutually agreed-upon guidelines developed by the physician and physician assistant and based on the physician’s delegator style.
- Secondary Responsibilities
- Confirm with patients their clear understanding that a physician assistant is treating them.
- Physician assistant shall review with the supervising physician all delegated patient services on a regular basis, as well as mutually agreed upon guidelines for the practice.
- Physician assistant shall clarify and familiarize all issues related to supervision methods and style of delegating patient care with the supervising physician.
