Short Description
Adheres to departmental procedures, fulfilling compliance with Life, Safety, Fire, and Hazardous Waste requirements.
Triage, coordinate, and perform direct patient care and clinical flow.
Prepare patients for providers, assist with exams, assist the provider with suture preparation, and carry out orders (i.e., various supplies/tests/X-Rays/dispensing of medications).
Provide health assessments, prepare for physicals, complete calibration of equipment, and perform various testing including (Pod’s, Respiratory approvals, Spirometry, Audiograms, EKG's, Drug Testing, Timms testing, Breath and Saliva Alcohols, Venipuncture, etc.).
Enter and oversee data entry with the SYSTOC computer system.
Stock and order medications and medical/surgical supplies.
Review physical/test results with the provider and handle phone calls (i.e., case management, testing/physical results).
Experience Required
Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
License/Certification Requirements
Current New Jersey LPN License (Licensed Practical Nurse).
BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
