Advocate Health is seeking an Experienced Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to serve as Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois.
You'll lead a high-acuity, high-volume practice with comprehensive support from a dedicated service line team and extensive system resources. Your role includes aligning department operations with system goals, culture, and values, working closely with residency program leadership, primary care, and other specialties.
Success in this position requires vision, excellent communication skills, collaboration and the ability to engage your team and shape the next generation of Emergency Medicine physicians.
Key Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of leadership experience in a medium to large Department of Emergency Medicine
- Strong background in Emergency Medicine operations and academic program experience
- Proven ability to manage complexity and drive operational and process improvements
- Leadership and communication skills to lead through change and engage your team
- Advanced education, including fellowship training is a plus
