Job Overview:
RWJBarnabas Health is looking to add a qualified Per Diem Registered Physical Therapist in Princeton, NJ.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy at the Bachelor or Post Bachelor level and licensed
Preferred:
- Active membership in a professional organization
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- BLS certification through American Heart Association
Scheduling Requirements:
- Evening Shift
- Per Diem Schedule
Essential Functions:
- The Registered Physical Therapist provides therapeutic, supportive, and diagnostic respiratory services and care to all RWJBH patients
- Administers respiratory care as ordered by the physician and documents required information in patient records
- Performs arterial puncture analysis and reporting of sample results, interprets results relative to acid base balance and ventilatory status
- Performs daily preventative maintenance and quality control for blood gas analyzers and co-oximeter
- Sets up, operates, monitors and troubleshoots oxygen delivery devices, pulse oximeters, end tidal CO2 monitors and ventilators
