LPN Licensed Practical Nurse - Surgery Specialties

ABOUT PENN STATE HEALTH MEDICAL GROUP SURGERY SPECIALTIES
Surgery Specialties is a busy surgical practice with a solid supportive team. This practice site handles high volume services which requires a wide knowledge base and solid communication skills.
LOCATION: 200 Campus Drive, Entrance 4 Suite 3100, Hershey
HOURS OF OPERATION: Monday - Friday 7:30a - 5:00p
WORK SCHEDULE: Shifts include 7:00a - 3:30p; 7:30a – 4:00p; 8:00a – 4:30p; 8:30a – 5:00p and are on a rotational basis. The closing shift is staffed until the last patient leaves and the closing duties are complete.
SPECIALTIES: Colorectal/IBD, Urology, Pediatric Urology, General Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Bariatric, Endocrine, Trauma, and Transplant (kidney & liver).
- Currently licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate LPN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required prior to completion of orientation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
- One (1) year experience in an acute or ambulatory care setting preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:
- Able to stand & sit constantly; walk frequently.
- Able to lift/carry 0-10 lbs. frequently; 11-50 lbs. occasionally.
- Able to push/pull 0-20 lbs. frequently; 21-75 lbs. occasionally.
- Able to climb occasionally; reach constantly.
- Able to use hands for simple/firm grasping.
