The Opportunity
Description
We're looking for a Mental Health Therapist, working in Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Pasadena, California, United States.
As a premier provider dedicated to healing children and young adults, strengthening families, and transforming communities through quality comprehensive services and advocacy, Hillsides is looking for a caring Mental Health Therapist in El Sereno, Baldwin Park, or Pasadena, CA. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will conduct home-based and on-site individual, conjoint, and group family therapy sessions under the supervision of the clinical supervisor.
While working with a multidisciplinary team as a Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for implementing program protocols and ensuring that procedures are consistent with protocols. You will be responsible for assessment, treatment, and follow-up and facilitate in a parenting group, or assigned group, on a rotation one evening a week.
With a flexible work schedule, you will gain extensive work experience as a clinician working with children & families. Through our robust training opportunities, you will grow your skillset in Evidence Based Practices, Shared Core Practice Model & Trauma Informed Care.
Employee Sign-on Bonus: $4000
Starting Salary Range: $66,560.00 - $75,560.00 per year, Bilingual stipend of $4,000 for applicable positions.

- Therapist BBS plus Bilingual $70,560
- Therapist BBS, Bilingual, plus Licensed $75,560

Experience Required for Your Success
- Master's Degree in a Social Service-related field.
- Registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and valid BBS number in good standing required.
- Bilingual in Spanish, required.
- Previous experience working with severely and emotionally disturbed children and community mental health required.
- Working knowledge of DMH programming and contract requirements is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with underrepresented and diverse communities preferred.
- Valid California driver's license, driving record, and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier.
