We are looking for the best talent to provide therapeutic services via telehealth, center-based and in-home as needed to youth throughout the state of New Jersey. Neuropath is currently hiring dedicated and compassionate therapists to join our team! *Key Responsibilities*:
- Providing individual In-home therapy, Telehealth Therapy sessions, Group therapy sessions, and outpatient center sessions.
- Perform Bio-psycho- social assessments, are a plus.
- Provide coping and social skills, anger management and reduce risk behaviors such as SIB or physical aggression.
- Work to improve youth and caretaker decision-making skills to manage in-home behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate effectively and consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and/or professionals from other disciplines who also work to support the youth and family.
- Submit all required documentation and paperwork within designated time frames (intake, treatment plan, dap notes, etc.
- Attend monthly meetings and submit mandatory clinical documentation.
- Must be able to complete or willing to train for Bio-Psycho-Social assessments.
*Requirements:
- Must have a master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields such as LSW, LAC, LFT
- Has some training or willing to complete Crisis Intervention Training
- Has post-internship field experience working with youth with disabilities with clinical experience
- Has experience with creating treatment planning, treatment goals setting, progress notes, and initial assessments.
- Has experience in various counseling approaches: CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma Response
- Knows how to use the DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis
- Must be available for a minimum 10 hours per week during after-school hours of 12noon through 8pm. Weekend flexibility is a plus.
- Must have experience providing positive behavior supports.
- Must have prior experience working with children ages 3-20 and children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) a plus.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle.
- Must pass a criminal background check, inclusive of fingerprinting.
- Must submit resume plus copies of master’s degree, with a copy of NJ or Certification or License.
Note: State Reciprocity is considered but the candidate needs to be no more than 25-30 minutes commute to the designated service areas. The license must be registered with the NJ Marriage & Family Therapy Board (i.e., PA, NY & NJ).
