WellHaven Pet Health Bozeman is seeking an Experienced Veterinarian to join our team.

WellHaven Pet Health Bozeman is an AAHA-accredited small animal practice located in the heart of beautiful Bozeman, MT. Our fun, friendly, and close-knit clinic is individually run by Dr. Megan Thomsen, who has been in the industry for over 10 years, including as Chief of Staff. We are equipped with digital radiographs, ultrasound, endoscopy, in-house labs, and digital dental radiographs.
Job Summary
The Associate DVM ensures a high quality of veterinary care, client service, employee well-being, and productivity of the veterinary medical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent, high-quality care, safe and exceptional service.
- Adhere to all WellHaven protocols and practices.
- Collaborate with the Principal Doctor to establish development plans.
- Practice veterinary medicine in compliance with the State Veterinary Practice Act.
- Maintain thorough and accurate medical charting for all patients.
- Provide comprehensive client communication.
- Participate in community events and hospital projects.
- Demonstrate proficiency in anesthesia, surgery, and current medical practices.
- Advocate for exceptional client service and patient well-being.
- Provide medical training to support staff.
Required Skills and Knowledge

- Learn new computer software systems.
Education and Experience
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required.
- State Veterinary Board License.
- Must be in good standing with the state(s) employed.
Work Location, Environment, and Physical Requirements
- The Associate Doctor position is performed onsite at our hospital.
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to lift 50+ pounds.
