Department
Department: NJMS-Pediatrics-Adolescent Medicine
Overview
DAYAM believes sexual and reproductive health is essential to every person’s overall health, well-being and happiness. We recognize that geographical and systemic barriers entrenched in discrimination and stigma prevent adolescents from having equitable opportunity to choose their own path and access to sexual and reproductive health care. In order to address health equity in the greater Newark area in an authentic way, we provide family planning services to our patients regardless of their ability to pay.
New Jersey’s academic health center, Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) takes an integrated approach to educating students, providing clinical care, and conducting research, all with the goal of improving human health.
