Description:
This position is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of medically prescribed therapy services, in order to achieve maximum developmental potential, functional gains and independence. The therapist must be able to work independently, as well as in teams and make appropriate decisions based on each patient's functional needs.
Estimated pay range: $38.94 - $50.62 / hour depending on experience.
Qualifications:
- Degrees: Masters
- Licenses & Certifications: Basic Life Support CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Certification, Speech-Language Pathologist
- Additional Qualifications: Minimum Masters Degree required. Employee must complete either leadership or clinical track. Clinical Track - Clinical instructor (240 hours minimum full time, prorated based on FTE status) and completes two approved clinical ladder electives. Leadership Track - Identifies and analyzes performance improvement issues and attends non-clinical courses in BHU as approved by leader and completes two approved clinical ladder electives.
- Minimum Required Experience: Outpatient experience with adults, varied diagnoses, strong MBS (swallow studies) skills, no weekends or holidays.
