Radiology Technologist CT Day Shift

We are looking for someone who would like to cross train into CT or MRI.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Position patients correctly to obtain clear and accurate images, adjusting equipment settings as needed.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and image quality.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports.
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions or changes in condition.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of patients, staff, and visitors.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with advancements in imaging technology and participate in continuing education to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
Qualifications and Certifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school for Radiologic Technology.
- ARDMS Certification Required.
- Current Minnesota Radiologic Technology license.
- BLS Required within 30 days of hire.
- CT certification.
