About the Job
The University of Minnesota Medical School's Department of Radiology seeks one fulltime ABR board certified/eligible radiologist with a primary interest in breast imaging. Academic rank, compensation, and appointment type will be based on qualifications and experience. Candidates' professional experiences should indicate likely success along the academic or clinician track promotion pathway.
Minimum requirements: MD or equivalent degree, eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Minnesota, board certified or board eligible, completion of ACGME accredited radiology residency training. Completion of a breast imaging fellowship is preferred.
J-1 waivers for 2026 are available, and candidates are encouraged to apply by June 30, 2025.
A radiologist in this position will spend their clinical time in our breast centers interpreting screening and diagnostic cases and performing breast intervention. The faculty member will serve alongside their division partners as a member of a multidisciplinary team composed of medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists, primary care breast experts, and genetic counselors. Academic faculty will be active in their national organizations and foster an academic environment for medical students, residents, fellows, and faculty.
