On behalf of Douglas Moote MD, Section Chief of Pediatric Radiology and Lindsay Griffin MD, Medical Director, in conjunction with Connecticut Children’s, CareerPhysician, LLC, a leader in academic pediatric recruitment, has initiated a national search to identify an outstanding pediatric radiologist to join a collaborative and innovative team offering a hybrid unique opportunity to grow your own practice with opportunities to pursue advancement in leadership, quality initiatives and resident education.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Radiologists enjoy a flexible work week to include a combination of onsite and tele-radiology ensuring that all partners have a schedule that is balanced and averse to burnout.
- The pediatric radiology section is a growing dynamic, energetic team offering varying levels of experience, areas of expertise, and all-around enthusiasm for new and innovative pediatric imaging.
- The section is comprised of five radiologists and is well supported by fellowship-trained sub-specialists in musculoskeletal, neuro and interventional radiology.
- The joining faculty will have the opportunity to participate in quality improvement, outcomes and safety, and lead institution-wide improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Section Chief and associate faculty.
- Pediatric radiologists are offered a unique opportunity to work with learners and train the future of the field through the group’s partnership with three residency programs in Hartford.
- The starting, guaranteed annual salary range is between $550,000 to $600,000, plus productivity incentives. The group offers a one-year partnership (no buy-in) and an aggressive sign-on incentive. Partners average 9 weeks of PTO annually, with flexibility to take more time as needed for conference days.
- The imaging resources at Jefferson Radiology and Connecticut Children’s are robust and include: the state’s first orthopedic EOS imaging, 3T MRI Siemens Vida, 1.5 Siemens Vida MRI, Contrast Ultrasound, 640 slice Canon Aquillion Genesis, and a Hybrid Interventional Operating Room.
- Connecticut Children’s (CCMC) is the only stand-alone children’s hospital between Boston and New York, providing Level 1 trauma care to a tri-state region.
- Qualified applicants will be currently board eligible, or board certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology. Fellowship training in pediatric radiology is preferred, but not required.
