Location
Our client is located in Brooklyn, New York. A short walk from the East River across from East Village, they sit in a convenient location between two Metro stations. Sometimes known as “Little Poland”, you will find there is no shortage of Polish restaurants! This area has great nightlife and shopping options, including many vintage shops to peruse. Our client has a booming art scene, authentic atmosphere, and is higher on the affordability scale than many other locations across the City.
Practice Overview
Our client is a new practice, celebrating 2 years being open! Their 1,600 sq. ft. practice has a split waiting area for dogs and cats, two exam rooms, three tables including a hydraulic dental table and wet table, brand new 2022 ultrasound, all with a modern Brooklyn flair! Their services include wellness visits, dentistry and dental surgery, house calls, spay/neuter, and laser therapy. They believe that when they work as a team, everyone benefits, especially their clients and their furry friends. They will see small animals/mammals, and although they are not currently seeing exotics, they are open to expanding with the right person! Their team is highly trained and passionate about providing the highest quality care and education to their clients and patients.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal cases
- Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
- Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care
- Guide and utilize exceptional support staff
- Maintain a positive work environment and promote teamwork
Qualifications
- Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited school required
- Licensed or able to become licensed in the state of New York
- 3 years of experience preferred
- Must be able and willing to perform general surgical procedures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt and be flexible
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Team player with a passion for mentoring and working with others
- Must be willing to and want to learn and grow skillset
