Our client has been offering top-notch veterinary care to the Terre Haute, Indiana community for over forty years. Located in the heart of the Midwest, Terre Haute is conveniently located between seven major Indiana cities, as well as just miles from the Illinois border. They have a vibrant downtown scene, numerous parks and recreational areas, and a variety of shopping and dining options too. They are also home to a state university, multiple colleges, and state-of-the-art public schools.
Practice Overview
Our client’s mission is to provide excellent, high quality veterinary medicine to their patients while being informative, caring, and honest to their owners. They are a full service animal hospital that offers routine, preventative, and surgical care to dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, and exotic pets. In addition, they offer their clients boarding and grooming services, an easy accessible drive-through window, and a retail area. Their hospital is fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology including an in-house laboratory, digital radiology, ultrasound, modernized dental machine, a LigaSure, endoscopy, and more! They are a team of passionate veterinary professionals who treat one another like family and foster a collaborative, team working environment.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of small animal cases
- Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
- Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care
- Guide and utilize exceptional support staff
- Maintain a positive work environment and promote teamwork
Qualifications
- Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited school required
- Licensed or able to become licensed in the state of Indiana
- Five years of experience preferred; New grads encouraged to apply as we have great mentorship
- Experience working on small animal general and surgical cases required
- Experience working on exotic animal cases is a PLUS!
- Demonstrated commitment to providing a high level of care and service
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Team player with a passion for mentoring and working with others
