SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Administer accurate ionizing radiation to patients in accordance with prescriptions and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- High school degree or equivalent
- ARRT certification or ability to obtain ARRT certification within three (3) months of hire required
- BLS Certification required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
- Aria 13.6 or greater preferred
- Varian Equipment including proficiency on TrueBeam preferred
- CT Simulation experience preferred
- Brachytherapy experience preferred
- Minimum one (1) year experience post ARRT certification preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in an approved program of radiologic technology or health care field preferred
