Position Overview: A large private, not-for-profit organization that offers a wide range of outpatient services for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing emotional and mental health concerns, as well as issues related to alcohol or drug use, has a need for an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

Responsibilities include:

Conducting psychiatric evaluations of mental health center clients.
Providing medication management and education services consistent with the needs of the client.
Facilitating and evaluating patients for admission to inpatient mental health or substance use treatment as required.
Providing case consultation to the agency’s clinical staff as necessary.
Utilizing staff psychiatrists for supervision and case consultation as necessary.
Collaborating with administrative/support staff to ensure efficiency in scheduling client appointments, follow-ups, consultations, phone calls, and paperwork time.
Collaborating with nursing staff to ensure effective follow-up, monitoring, and education regarding medication and symptoms of mental illness with clients and family members.
