- License required: MO or compact license at the time of submittal
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS & NRP
- # of years of experience required: 2 years experience required, Level 2 experience required (charge experience preferred)
Skills
Preferred: phototherapy, teach circumcision care to parents, thermoregulation, large for gestational age, low birth weight infants, Pain management (epidural, Use of PCA IV), use of breast feeding pump.
Required: Admin of blood/products, CVC/PICC lines, Start/Maintain Peripheral IV, Medications (anticonvulsants, antihypertensive, heparin, insulin drips, magnesium sulfate therapy, oxytocin), Assist w/circumcision, car seat education, cord care, discharge teaching, IV antibiotics, newborn assessment, neonatal abstinence syndrome, Pain management (opioids, pain assessment), baby-friendly protocols, couplet care, incision care, isolation precautions, phlebotomy, vaccine administration.
