Summary:
The sitter is a caregiver trained in the area of sitter services, for both psychiatric patients requiring 1:1 observation as well as observing patients who are at risk for falls and other harm to themselves. This position works under close supervision of the registered nurse.
QualificationsEducation/Qualification
- High School diploma or GED
- Successful completion of training or demonstrate understanding and practical competency in the following areas: Understanding the needs of the elderly, handicapped or convalescing individuals; Transportation and escort services; Alerting staff for medical emergencies; Infection control
- Health care experience preferred
