Baylor Scott and White Health is seeking a BC/BE General Surgeon with fellowship training in AAES Surgical Endocrinology to join our outstanding Division of Surgical Oncology program in our large integrated health system in Temple, TX. Position Highlights
- Established tertiary referral system.
- Fellowship training through AAES is preferred. Consideration for surgical oncology fellowship will also be given.
- The Surgical Oncology Division currently consists of 7 surgeons and 3 NPs.
- Faculty position for BSW Temple AAES accredited Surgical Endocrine Fellowship.
- Integrated with a General Surgery Residency Training Program, the position will involve teaching residents and medical students with faculty academic appointment with Baylor College of Medicine.
- Active clinical research and teaching opportunities are available.
- Continued practice of general surgery with possible additional care of breast diseases is also highly desired.
- We are seeking a Surgeon to provide advanced technology and surgical innovation, introduce state-of-the-art techniques, and continue to build upon and support an established program of excellence for major and complex endocrine surgery.
Baylor Scott and White surgical oncologists are key members of Baylor Scott and White Cancer Institute's integrated care teams, located at Baylor Scott and White Vasicek Cancer Treatment Center. The multidisciplinary management of the cancer patient has fostered strong relationships between the Divisions of Surgical Oncology, Medical Oncology, and Radiation Oncology.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine
- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- Where Applicable - Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate board certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
