Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2025 Operations Intern. Join the Dynamic Components Operations team! In this role you will be project based and will support the following areas that make up our Dynamic Components Product Center: Assembly, Machine Shop, Gear Machining, or Housing Cell/Processing. Support Continuous improvement activities including 3P (Production, Preparation, Process) projects, Root Cause Investigation, Kaizen events. Support all corporate and customer events and facility tours for our center. Assist in development of Shop Floor visual aids and Visual Factory. Support corporate, AS9100, and related audit activities. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles including Kaizen, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis to support innovation, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities. Must be a US citizen.
Basic Qualifications:
- Pursing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Quality, Finance, Industrial Engineering or related disciplines
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including proficiency in Excel and Power Point
- Basic comprehension of analytical tools, workflow time study, and process balancing
- Familiar with project management
- Must be a US citizen
