A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST
A Surgical Technologist works closely with our surgeons, anticipating their needs and the next steps of the surgery. The Surgical Technologist will watch and report any breaches in sterility, keeping patient safety first and foremost. Our Surgical Technologist also helps with materials as well as central services!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Wisconsin Surgical Technologist certification or minimum of one year of experience as an operating room technician
WORK SCHEDULE
The Surgical Technologist has variable hours based on our surgery schedule Monday through Friday. This position is approximately a .2 FTE (8 hours per week, but can flex based on business needs).
