Minimum Requirements:
- At least two (2) years of clinical experience as a Healthcare RPSGT, RT, or HME RT.
- At least one (1) year of assisting patients with CPAP therapy, doing mask fittings and patient setups
- Valid and unrestricted clinical license in Michigan.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Competent in using computers and webcam-based communication tools.
- Strong customer service abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an 8-bed sleep lab in Detroit, manage the scheduling process, and ensuring night-time sleep techs are scheduled appropriately as well.
- Assist in managing three other satellite offices
- Educate patients on the purpose, procedures, and equipment for their treatment.
- Set and adjust BiPAP and CPAP machines to meet prescribed settings.
- Ensure proper fitting and care for new masks.
- Communicate patient feedback effectively to other departments.
- Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Act as a marketing presence for the organization.
- Communicate effectively in English, in both oral and written forms.
- Interpret various types of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening, visual).
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and handle sensitive information carefully.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Monitor and report patient machine usage to insurance companies.
- Build positive relationships with referral sources and promote the organization locally.
- Serve as the clinical leader within the team.
Technical Abilities:
- Proficient in all applicable CPAP medical equipment and supplies
- Navigate Salesforce and other essential software.
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS
- Use of office equipment: copier, scanner, phone, and computer/tablet
- Conduct video consultations
Schedule:
- Full-time, at Detroit Medical Center, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
