Responsibilities:
The Medical Group Clinic Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and influencing department activities and delivery of services while maintaining continuous quality improvement. The Office Manager maintains operations within budgetary parameters. Effectively interacts with patients, physicians, and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional business conduct and service. The Clinic Manager is accountable to the Operations Manager and Executive Director for the day-to-day management of personnel, including staffing, credential monitoring, timekeeping, employee evaluation, counseling, and interview and selection of staff within established SMMG and regulatory guidelines. The Office Manager spends 80%+ of his/her time on management activities. This role oversees two additional clinics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field or a minimum of five years of Healthcare leadership/management experience is required.
- Management experience required.
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Medicare, Medical, HMO/PPO, and W/C Billing & Collections preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of machines and equipment used in the Business Office area.
- Sexual Harassment training within 90 days of hire and annually thereafter.
