Job Description
The manager provides effective and coordinated leadership in conjunction with and in the absence of the UHBH Director. The Manager has responsibility for ensuring that assigned bachelors degree and non-clinical staff are providing quality services while promoting evidence based practices. Ensures that all staff that report to them provide accurate and timely documentation of clinical services. Reports on performance improvement measures and oversees improvements. Provides fiscal management for treatment team. Works to develop and improve department, program, and service line outcomes.
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s or doctorate degree from an accredited program in social work, psychology, counseling, or any other related human services field approved by the State of Missouri if hired into the position after July 1, 2023. (Staff hired into position effective prior to 7/1/23 may possess lower level degrees)
- Must be a Qualified Mental Health Provider (i.e. RN, Social Worker, Licensed Counselor, etc)
- Two years’ experience; one of which was working with the behavioral health population.
- Must be licensed or licensable in the State of Missouri. Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and a willingness to work with multicultural staff and clientele.
- Staff with a master’s degree in social work are required to have a minimum licensure of MO LMSW.
- If driving is a requirement for the employee, he/she must meet the requirements specified in the Fleet Driving Safety and Compliance Policy and must continue to meet these requirements as a condition of employment.
- Completion of training as directed through orientation and/or by Leadership, Management or Educators in the established timeline for continued employment.
