(Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted) Physician Assistant - Nurse Practitioner
Location: Woodstock, GA (30 miles N of Atlanta)
We are looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experienced in orthopedics and musculoskeletal issues to join our medical practice in Woodstock, GA. Our ideal candidate is comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain.
Job Duties:
- Patient exam and evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent medical records and imaging)
- Order and review tests and labs (MRIs, NCVs, etc.)
- Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
- Patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, rehabilitation exercises, and various modalities
- Manage patient care
- Perform trigger point and joint injections
- Prescribe physical therapy and/or chiropractic care as needed
- Prescribe medications as necessary for pain and treatment (no narcotics prescribed)
- Documentation and progress notes – daily, timely, and accurate
- Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care plans
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program
- PA or NP license in GA
- Orthopedic, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, or Pain Management background preferred
- Experience in joint injections and musculoskeletal issues
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday – Friday
Compensation:
$120,000 to $125,000 (DOE)
