Job Description Summary
The Hollings Cancer Center Clinic is a busy adult Oncology clinic that sees a wide variety of oncology patients. Our clinic team consists of RNs, LPNs, CMAs, and administrative assistants who work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality and safety of care for our patients. Each clinic workflow varies depending on the clinic, but includes working as a team that includes: patient triage, in-clinic procedures, assessments, patient education, medication administration, CVC line care, obtaining EKG, and care coordination. Team members work alongside providers (including physicians, PAs, and NPs) during patient clinic visits to provide the needed care our patients deserve. Other team members that we work alongside include social workers, pharmacists, and phlebotomists.

Job Description
*Sign on bonus for external candidates only: $2,000
Scheduled Work Hours/Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Job Summary/Purpose: Responsible for quality patient care under the direction of a physician or licensed healthcare provider in a clinical practice. Duties include rooming patients, taking vitals and health history, documenting in an electronic medical record, giving injections, and assisting with minor procedures.
Minimum Training and Education: Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program and licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state. One year of LPN experience preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
