The Arc of the Ozarks is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our team of professionals for the new Autism and Neurodevelopmental Center located at 2864 S Nettleton Ave Springfield, MO 65807. The Arc of the Ozarks supports individuals with disabilities in directing their own lives as valued members of the community. The Arc of the Ozarks has partnered with multiple community partners to provide neurodevelopmental diagnostic and treatment services within the integrated healthcare setting. Through this partnership, individuals with neurodevelopmental disorder and their families throughout Southwest Missouri will have increased access to evaluation services, early intervention programs, and outpatient therapeutic services within their own communities. The Clinical Psychologist within the Arc of the Ozarks Neurodevelopmental Clinic will conduct psychological assessments, provide intervention services, and conduct behavioral consultations. Diagnostic services will occur within an interdisciplinary evaluation team, comprised of relevant professionals based on the unique needs of the individual patient. The psychologist will partner with a family advocate to provide families with feedback on evaluation results and recommendations. In addition to neurodevelopmental disabilities, the psychologist will also address a range of behavioral health problems such as mood disorders, trauma, behavioral concerns, and social and interpersonal problems. The psychologist will work within an interdisciplinary team of behavior analysts, registered behavior technicians, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, special educators, and medical providers. Other responsibilities may include participation in research studies and supervision of trainees, including pre-doctoral psychology interns and postdoctoral psychologists.
Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in Psychology from an APA-accredited program. At least 1 year of experience in child clinical psychology or pediatric psychology; previous experience working specifically with young children with developmental disabilities preferred. At least 1 year of experience utilizing the ADOS-2 and/or ADI-R is preferred. Missouri State License as a Psychologist or eligibility for Missouri licensure, as documented by out-of-state licensure.
