Job Description:
Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is building the future in our Imaging Institute by adding several services and locations to the network. The Imaging Institute’s Division of Neuroradiology is recruiting a full-time remote Neuroradiologist to join our growing team from your home.
Job Duties:
- Provide a full range of diagnostic neuroradiology services to AHN facilities including a Level 1 trauma center, level 2 trauma center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Primary Stroke Centers, and a variety of cancer centers.
- Equipment includes 14 CT scanners, including 64 slice dual source CT, 128 slice CT, multiple 64 slice CT scanners, dedicated procedure CT scanners, and 16 slice PET CT. Twelve 1.5 Tesla magnets. AHN utilizes a range of RAPID products for acute stroke imaging. Icometrix was recently employed for imaging of dementia, epilepsy, and multiple sclerosis imaging.
- Participate fully in a division which supplies services to 14 hospitals and multiple imaging centers.
- Remote hours (to be determined): 7 days on, 7 days off.
- Involvement in clinical and didactic teaching to the residents and medical students is desired.
- Active participation in multidisciplinary conferences.
Job Qualifications:
- Certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology and Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Neuroradiology.
- Successful completion of fellowship training in neuroradiology.
- PhD/MD Graduate of an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
- Completion of accredited residency and fellowship if required by specialty.
- Current PA MD licensure in good standing; current unrestricted DEA certificate.
