Hudson Park Rehabilitation and Nursing has openings for energetic and passionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team. Hudson Park is a 200-bed skilled nursing facility on Northern Blvd in Albany.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practice and regulations and as directed by the Director of Nursing.
Responsibilities:
- Collecting information from the residents to be admitted; medical records, and insurance details.
- Recording health details of residents; including vitals & temperature.
- Administering medications and injections to residents as needed.
- Treating and dressing wounds and bedsores as needed.
- May be required to supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA's).
- Helps residents get dressed and take care of personal hygiene.
- Monitors residents' food and liquid intake and output.
Requirements for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
- Valid LPN License
- Must have up-to-date MMR vaccination & physical
- Must be in good standing with the State Registry
