Job Description:
As a Critical Care Registered Nurse at LifeLine EMS, you will assume a central role in delivering advanced medical care during the interfacility transport of critically ill patients. Working collaboratively with a team of healthcare experts, including Respiratory Therapists, you will ensure the secure and efficient transfer of patients to specialized medical facilities. Your key responsibilities will include:
Maintaining Certifications and Licenses: Ensure that your California Registered Nurse's License, BLS/CPR, PALS, and ACLS certifications remain current and in compliance with state regulations. Committed to your ongoing professional development, you will also strive to meet or exceed the qualifications listed below.
Qualifications:
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Valid BLS/CPR, PALS, and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of two (2) years of critical care experience within the last 18 months, in areas such as the ER, ICU, or other critical care units.
- Additional experience of 2 years in ED, ICU, or CCU within the last 18 months.
- Exceptional communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
Comprehensive Patient Care: Provide high-quality routine, emergency, and critical nursing care to patients in the transport environment, adhering to established CCT program policies, patient care guidelines, and standards of care. Collaborate closely with the medical control physician to ensure patient well-being during transport.

Tier 1 - Minimal commitment: Ideal for those with limited availability. Work just 4 shifts per month at $54.00 per hour. Shift selection is based on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tier 2 - Minimal commitment: Ideal for those with limited availability. Join us for 2 shifts per week at $56.00 per hour. Shift selection is based on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tier 3 - Moderate commitment: Suited for individuals seeking a balanced work-life arrangement. Take on 3 shifts per week at $58.00 per hour. Shift selection is based on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tier 4 - Substantial commitment: Appealing to dedicated professionals. Enjoy a set schedule of 4 shifts per week at $70.00 per hour. Tier 4 includes the provision of one week of scheduled leave per quarter. Shift assignments are determined through a quarterly bidding process for the subsequent quarter, with Tier 4 enjoying seniority privileges over Tiers 1-3.
