Our location in Northbrook is our first and largest facility, and consists not only of our widest variety of programs, but also serves as a pilot site for many of our new treatment offerings.
What You’ll Do
- Medication administration
- Nursing Assessments
- Measuring & recording vitals
- Phone triage
- Performing basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies
- Maintaining medication inventory
- Recording patient history and medical findings
- Assisting providers with writing laboratory orders and retrieving results
- Assisting with the completion of medical documentation for patients and their families
- Coordinating with insurance companies for medication and diagnostic prior authorizations
- Assisting providers with prescription refills
- Specimen collection
- Provide support & assistance to the organization’s committees
- Provide support and assistance during crisis or emergency situations
Who You Are
- Hold a BSN degree (preferred) or LPN
- Are a Registered Nurse with current licensure to practice in Illinois
- Are certified in Healthcare Provider CPR
- Have a minimum of 1 year of Hospital Experience (preferred)
- Have experience in mental health (preferred)
- Possess excellent therapeutic communication skills
