Essential Responsibilities:
- Provides each resident with professional nursing care, assessments, and evaluations.
- Responsible for the management of nursing activities performed by Neighborhood/Household (NH/HH) staff ensuring that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
- Works with a team of cross-trained staff to coordinate the functions of the NH/HH.
- Has 24-hour responsibility for clinical functions of the NH/HH.
Qualifications:
- A current, valid Louisiana registered nurse (RN) license is required.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in long-term care, prior MDS experience is preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate, direct, and delegate tasks.
Other Qualifications:
- Has not been excluded from participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
- Maintains eligibility to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs throughout employment.
- Participate in pre-employment and annual Tuberculosis screening.
