Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- NJ License
- 2+ years experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam, RWJ Stroke CEU’s
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (SAT/SUN)
May float between MS/Tele units, MS/Neuro, MS/Oncology, MS/Orthopedic and Observation units, as needed (Confirm floating with traveler).
Unit Details:
18 beds on the unit. Patient mix includes medical conditions such as CHF, pneumonia, diabetes, and cardiac issues. Occasional post-surgical patients may be admitted. Knowledge of chest tubes, surgical drains, oxygen therapy, IV therapy, blood glucose monitoring, and telemetry monitoring are highly recommended.
General Knowledge Required:
Chest tubes, surgical drains, oxygen therapy, and patient mobility equipment such as hoyer lifts and ambulation aids.
Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
