Supervisory Clinical Psychologist - GS-0180-14 - Ft Sill, OK

Responsibilities
- Provide psychological and clinical consultation to other professionals and paraprofessionals.
- Coordinate with other agencies to assist with the treatment of patients.
- Formulate diagnostic impressions, treatment plans, and recommendations utilizing test data and psycho-diagnostic interviews.
- Provide guidance, counsel, and instructions to employees on both technical and administrative matters.
- Conduct psychological autopsies, evaluations, medical boards, sanity boards, security clearances, and fitness for duty evaluations.
- Serve as a Clinical Supervisor in Behavioral Health.
PERFORMS OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
Conditions of Employment
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
- One-year supervisory probationary period required.
- Selectees will be required to sign a statement consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
- This position is a Testing Designated Position subject to pre-employment screening and random drug testing.
- A pre-placement medical examination is required.
- Immunization screening is required, including Hepatitis B immunization for positions with direct patient contact.
- Applicants must fulfill credentialing requirements and maintain appropriate clinical privileges.
- Must obtain and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Red Cross.
Qualifications
US Citizenship required
Degree: Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience providing psychological counseling, developing treatment plans, and instructing others in therapeutic techniques. Experience must be typical of work performed at the GS-13 level in the federal service. Education cannot substitute for experience.
License: A current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently from a U.S. State, District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction is required.
FOREIGN EDUCATION:If using education from foreign colleges or universities, credentials must be evaluated by a private organization specializing in foreign education programs.
