We are currently recruiting an experienced Sonographer to join our AIUM accredited care center in East Brunswick, NJ. This is a per diem position for standard and high-risk OB cases. Must have perinatal experience.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Perform 10-12 high-risk scans per day, including uterine, umbilical & MCA Dopplers.
- Evaluate and assess patient’s health care needs based on patient’s signs and symptoms utilizing established protocols and guidelines.
- Obtain appropriate input and direction from the provider, as needed, to determine the best clinical course of action and recommendations for specific patient health care.
- Follow policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency and departmental effectiveness as well as improve health care outcomes of patients/callers and their access to appropriate health care.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years experience performing obstetrical scanning, a degree/certificate from an accredited ultrasound program, and current RDMS, NT, and CPR certifications. Knowledge of CPT coding, lab-specific order sets, and eClinical Works are beneficial.
