Cardiac Sonographer- FT Nights - Diagnostic Cardiology
SUMMARY
Perform cardiac echosonography procedures for adult patients as the primary responsibility. Assist cardiologists in performing various echocardiographic procedures. Operate and maintain equipment in safe condition. Evaluate echocardiograms for technical quality and provide summary reports. Provide patient care essential to echocardiographic procedures in compliance with all Joint Commission standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (CCI or RDMS) with a minimum of one year experience in cardiac echosonography
- Must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology as it relates to echocardiography
- Demonstrate proficiency in the performance of M-mode, two-dimensional, and Doppler (pulsed wave, continuous wave, and color flow) echocardiographic diagnostic procedures
- Must be familiar with stress, transesophageal, intraoperative, contrast echocardiography, and echo-guided procedures
